Andrew Wilkins is a patent agent with a focus on biotechnology. He has experience in drafting and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications, performing freedom to operate analyses, and drafting non-infringement and invalidity opinions for clients in the biotechnology industry. He is currently pursuing his juris doctorate at Suffolk University Law School, with an expected graduation in 2012.
Areas of Dr. Wilkins’ expertise include therapeutic antibodies and antibody-like molecules, RNAi, gene therapy vectors, vaccines, protein purification methods, screening assays, biocompatible drug delivery vehicles, ubiquitin/proteasome biology, Ras protein signaling, protein and lipid kinase biology, phospholipids, immune signaling, and mouse molecular genetics.
