Harris, Carroll James

Mr. Sanders' practice spans all aspects of labor and employment law, including federal and state court litigation, arbitration, collective bargaining negotiations, prevention and defense of union organizational campaigns, wrongful discharge, employment discrimination and safety and health-related matters.  He has been involved in the negotiation of national and regional collective bargaining agreements in the construction, mining and pipeline transportation industries as well as negotiating contracts locally for automotive, printing, construction, paper and graphic supply, environmental management, public warehouse, chemical, construction supply, metal fabrication, and real estate management clients.  He was a contributing editor to the Schiel & Grossman, Employment Discrimination, 2nd ed, Five Year Cumulative Supplement.

His legal experience prior to private practice includes serving as Labor Counsel for Peabody Coal Co., and Peabody Holding Co., Inc., Chief Trial Attorney for the St. Louis County Public Defender and Law Clerk for the Honorable Joseph G. Stewart, Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District.
