Josephine Lynch has been practicing law for over 20 years concentrating in the area of family law. A New York native, Ms. Lynch is a summa cum laude graduate of the State University of New York at Albany, earning a bachelor's degree in social work, and a Phi Beta Kappa. She received her law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center.
Ms. Lynch served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable William H. McCullough of the Circuit Court for Prince George's County. She is currently a member of the Prince George's County Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, the Prince George's County Women's Bar Association and the Maryland State Women's Bar Association. Ms. Lynch served as Treasurer, Vice President and President of the Prince George's County Women's Bar Association, served on the Board of Directors for the Prince George's County Bar Association, co-chaired the Prince George's County Family Law Ad Hoc Committee, co-chaired the Prince George's County Family Law Committee, and served on the Board of Directors for Prince George's County Family Crisis Center.
Ms. Lynch was appointed to a four-year term by former governor Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr., to serve on the Prince George's County Trial Courts Judicial Nominating Commission.
