Susan Loh is a senior associate with Lanza & Smith. Ms. Loh has over 15 years of experience in all phases of general civil and business litigation.
Ms. Loh litigated a wide variety of sophisticated business matters through resolution, in state, federal, and appellate courts, including actions involving manufacturer, distributor, and retailer disputes under the Commercial Code, breach of fiduciary duty, directors’ & officers’ liability, debtor/creditor issues, malicious prosecution, fraud and an array of contract disputes. Ms. Loh has extensive experience representing employers in matters involving wrongful termination, breach of employment contract, harassment, discrimination, common law and statutory public policy claims, whistleblower, and ADA. She also has significant experience in commercial landlord-tenant disputes, commercial unlawful detainer, and commercial lease negotiation.
Ms. Loh received her Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona, College of the Law, and her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Scripps College in Claremont, CA. While in law school, she participated in the London Law Consortium at the University of London, School of Law, and was later selected as a special prosecutor in the Pima County Attorney's Office. After law school, Ms. Loh served as a law clerk to then US Attorney Alan D. Bersin (now the Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, DHS), and then US Assistant Attorney Larry A. Burns (now a Federal District Court Judge) at the United States Attorney's Office, Southern District of California. She is a member of the State Bar of California, and is admitted to all State and Federal courts in California. She is married with two children.
