Elena N. Liveris is an associate with Meites Mulder. She began her law career as a paralegal at Meites Mulder and returned as an attorney eager to advocate on behalf of plaintiffs’ rights.
Ms. Liveris received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and graduated with high honors from Chicago-Kent College of Law where she was Executive Articles Editor of the Chicago-Kent Law Review. While in law school, she served an externship with Judge Joan B. Gottschall of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Upon graduation, Ms. Liveris joined an international law firm, Winston & Strawn, LLP, honing her advocacy skills. Drawn by a desire to advance plaintiffs’ rights, she went on to work on behalf of indigent workers at the Legal Aid Society-Employment Law Center in San Francisco. Ms. Liveris has continued her work on the plaintiffs’ bar in private practice with a focus on litigating employment discrimination, retaliation, whistleblower, wrongful termination, harassment, and wage and hour matters among others in state and federal courts as well as resolving matters through pre-litigation efforts.
