Lewis A. Lindenberg became a partner of the firm in 2003
Mr. Lindenberg has extensive New York State Supreme Court real estate litigation experience in the areas of commercial landlord-tenant disputes, Yellowstone injunctive and declaratory judgment actions, co-op/condo litigation, administrative matters before the New York City Loft Board and landlord creditor disputes in the Bankruptcy Court.
In addition to Mr. Lindenberg's trial litigation experience, he has represented numerous clients in the negotiation and the drafting of commercial leases.
Mr. Lindenberg is a graduate of the Franklin Pierce Law Center, having attended New York University School of Law in his final year of law study. Mr. Lindenberg completed his undergraduate degree at Boston University, graduating magna cum laude from the School of Liberal Arts.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Lindenberg was a Senior Partner at Finkelstein, Borah, Schwartz, Altschuler & Goldstein, P.C., where he shared the responsibility for overseeing that firm's Litigation Department.
Mr. Lindenberg has published articles for the Landlord-Tenant Practice Reporter, the Real Estate Weekly and the New York Real Estate Journal and has lectured before the New York County Lawyers' Association, the Rent Stabilization Association and the New York University School of Continuing and Professional Studies. He serves as a member of the Real Estate Committee for the New York County Lawyers' Association and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
