Jenny Li joined Delfino Green & Green in December 2012 with over ten years of experience in several areas of civil litigation, including personal injury, employment, commercial, mass tort, and products liability. Jenny brings a unique perspective to our firm in that she practiced for many years at two prominent defense-side firms in San Francisco. During that time, Jenny successfully represented individual, corporate, and public entity clients, and their insurance carriers, in state and federal courts. Her experience included taking and defending numerous depositions, preparing and arguing motions (and achieving a winning record on dispositive motions), negotiating and settling cases, and second-chairing two jury trials. While this experience had been enriching, nowadays, Jenny is happy and feels extremely rewarded to be representing the more vulnerable members of society. Jenny's approach to being the best possible advocate for her clients is to take an assertive, yet pragmatic, approach on case handling while staying one step ahead of the game.
A native of Orange County, California, Jenny graduated with a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1997. She then obtained her law degree from the University of San Diego in 2001. While in law school, Jenny was awarded with the "Best Appellate Brief" of her graduating class, earned the highest grade in her Constitutional Law and International Business Transactions classes, and clerked for the late Justice Don Work at the California Court of Appeal, Fourth District, in San Diego. In her spare time, Jenny enjoys competitive distance running, yoga, traveling, and watching hockey.
