Randy Walters advises a wide variety of clients on mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, buyouts, corporate governance, and securities disclosure matters. He has extensive experience in distressed M&A and restructuring transactions in and outside of bankruptcy. He also counsels boards of directors and senior management in crisis, liquidity, insolvency, and bankruptcy situations, including investigations, special committees, and fiduciary duty issues.
Randy heads the Mergers & Acquisitions, Capital Markets, and Private Equity Practices in the Columbus Office. He represents a wide range of clients in a variety of industries, including publicly traded corporations, private equity funds, privately held corporations, and financial institutions. He has represented banks and insurance companies in lending transactions, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory matters, and mutual holding company reorganizations.

Randy has served as general counsel for several NYSE companies, practiced law in Chicago and Houston, and is a member of the American Bar Association (Business Law Section), the Ohio State Bar Association, and the Columbus Bar Association. He has been named in The Best Lawyers in America since 2006.
Randy frequently speaks on topics relating to corporate governance and fiduciary duties. In community matters, he is chairman-elect of Ballet Metropolitan, a nationally recognized dance and ballet company.
