Vicki Walcott-Edim represents employers in a wide range of labor and employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-hour, contract, and traditional labor actions in state and federal courts and arbitration proceedings. She has experience defending claims brought under Title VII, the Pregnancy Discrimination Act, Section 1981, ADEA, the FLSA, the NLRA, and state labor and employment laws. Her experience ranges from individual employment disputes to complex class, collective, and multiplaintiff actions, including pattern or practice cases filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Vicki also advises clients on a variety of day-to-day employment issues, including the implementation of employment practices and policies and negotiation of employment and separation agreements. She has conducted training programs for human resources and other employees on topics such as sexual harassment and employment law developments.
Vicki is a member of the labor & employment sections of the New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
