Troy Leonard has practiced in Sioux Falls for more than 20 years. Troy practices in the area of intellectual property with particular emphasis in the field of trademarks and branding.  Troy handles domestic and international trademark clearance, prosecution and enforcement, brand development and management, trademark infringement counseling, domain name issues, and licensing matters.  Troy is responsible for more than 1000 trademark applications and registrations in the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Troy is listed in Best Lawyers in America 2011 for his work in Intellectual Property Law.

Troy is a member of the State Bar of South Dakota, the Second Circuit Bar Association, and the International Trademark Association (INTA). Troy has chaired the Intellectual Property Committee for the South Dakota State Bar. He is also the chairman of the firm's intellectual property practice group.
