My name is John Legutki, and I am a criminal defense attorney serving clients throughout the Chicago area. I have more than 20 years of experience in defending clients who were accused of crimes. Over this time, I have helped thousands of them to fight their charges and turn their lives toward more promising futures.

I have been a practicing attorney in Illinois since 1983 and understand the laws and procedures to assist you with the Secretary of State administrative hearing process. As a Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney, I prosecuted driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI) cases and other criminal offenses. I also served as both a prosecutor and a Hearing Officer for the Illinois Secretary of State, with the Department of Administrative Hearings.
