Dustin is a member of the firm’s Business, Real Estate and Frac Sand, Mining and Minerals Sections. He provides advice and representation to businesses and individuals in all aspects of general corporate business and real estate matters. A significant portion of Dustin’s business and real estate practice is devoted to matters related to the frac sand mining industry, including representing landowners and mining entities in the negotiation and drafting of complex royalty, lease and sale agreements.
Previous to joining the firm, Dustin worked in the real estate group of a large, international company specializing in real estate transactions, leasing matters and real estate development projects. Previous to law school, Dustin was a licensed real estate agent with an extensive real estate practice in western Wisconsin and northeast Iowa.
Dustin graduated with highest honors from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in finance and human resources management. Dustin received his law degree from Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. While in law school, Dustin interned for The Honorable Lynn Adelman, District Judge for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, and was a member of the Real Estate Law Society.
Dustin resides with his wife in Eau Claire and is a member of the Eau Claire, Wisconsin and Minnesota Bar Associations. Raised on a dairy farm near Cashton, Wisconsin, Dustin is an avid outdoorsman and spends much of his free time hunting and fishing throughout western Wisconsin.
