Jared M. Lee graduated from Florida State University College of Law with honors. While in law school, he studied at the Summer Law Conference at St. Edmunds Hall at Oxford University and served as a Judicial Extern for Justice Ricky Polston at the First District Court of Appeal. Additionally, he served as an Executive Editor and Articles and Notes Editor of the FSU Journal of Transnational Law and Policy and as an Articles and Notes Editor on the FSU Business Law Review.
Mr. Lee received numerous awards and honors while in law school, including the FSU College of Law Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award. He was also elected President and Vice President of the FSU Real Estate Law and Trust Society and was a member of the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity.
After graduating law school, Mr. Lee pursued his passion for helping those in need by serving as an Assistant Public Defender where he represented juvenile and adult clients charged with various degrees of misdemeanors and felonies. He successfully litigated numerous jury verdicts and bench trials to favorable results.
Currently, Mr. Lee continues to pursue his passion for helping those in need by serving in Morgan and Morgan's Consumer Protection Department. In the Consumer Protection Department, he litigates numerous cases involving violations of Florida's Consumer Collection Practice Act, the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act and other consumer rights laws.
