James Lee is an associate of M2 Law Professional Corporation whose practice focuses on corporate and securities law, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. While in law school, Mr. Lee served as an associate editor of the Journal for Business, Entrepreneurship and the Law and was an business and legal affairs intern for Comedy Central and a foreign film sales agency. Before attending law school, Mr. Lee was a corporate paralegal for two global financial firms in New York City. Mr. Lee also owned and operated a retail clothing business in New York City for over three years before pursuing his legal career.
EDUCATION
Mr. Lee received his J.D. and Certificate in Entrepreneurship and the Law from Pepperdine University School of Law in May 2010. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Television Production from New York University in January 1999.

Mr. Lee received the Witkin Academic Excellence Award and the Cali Excellence Award in Entrepreneurship and the Law and the Los Angeles Copyright Society Paul Miller Award in Copyright and Entertainment Law.

Mr. Lee is admitted to practice in California and is a member of the American Bar Association, the Beverly Hills Bar Association, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
Mr. Lee speaks Korean.
Mr. Lee is a movie buff who enjoys spending time with his wife and son, cycling, hiking, traveling and working on cars.
