Robert Kevin Lee graduated from the UCLA School of Law in 1990 with Moot Court Honors. He devoted his practice to the area of bankruptcy law almost immediately and is now certified by the American Board of Certification in Business Bankruptcy Law and the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization in Bankruptcy Law. Out of over 200,000 attorneys admitted to practice law in California, Robert Kevin Lee is one of only 12 attorneys certified by both the American Board of Certification in Business Bankruptcy and the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization in Bankruptcy Law. Mr. Lee received his Juris Doctor Degree with Moot Court Honors from UCLA School of Law in 1990. Prior to that, Mr. Lee graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. Mr. Lee has used his writing and verbal skills to successfully and aggressively advocate for his clients in court in all phases of litigation, confirmation and adversary cases.
Mr. Lee passed the California State Bar Examination on his first attempt in July of 1990 and was admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court in December of 1990. Shortly after, Mr. Lee was admitted by the Central, Southern, Northern and Eastern Districts of California of the Federal District Courts. Mr. Lee became certified by the California State Bar as a specialist in Bankruptcy Law in 2007 and most recently in August of 2012 by the American Board of Certification in Business Bankruptcy.
Mr. Lee has held positions with the Multi-Cultural Bar Alliance as Chairperson, the Korean American Bar Association as Board Member, and has been a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and American Bankruptcy Institute in the past. He is currently an active member of the Central District Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney Association. Mr. Lee is a frequent speaker and contributor of articles to legal blogs, posts, websites and publications.
