Robert Lazear graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1979 with a degree in economics. He then worked as a legislative assistant in the Wisconsin Legislature before attending law school at the University of Minnesota.
During law school, Robert served as an editor of the law journal and graduated cum laude in 1985. He clerked for the Minnesota Court of Appeals and practiced commercial litigation with another law firm before joining Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben in 1987. Robert specializes in representing accident victims and their families in personal injury, wrongful death, product liability and complex insurance cases.
Robert practices in both state and federal courts. He has served as a lecturer at legal education seminars and as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association.
