James P. Vander Salm comes to Murphy & Vander Salm after establishing his own successful criminal defense and environmental law practice. 

Attorney Vander Salm is a graduate of Brown University and the University of Michigan Law School, from which he graduated with Honors. His dedication to scholarship continues in his representation of his clients, and has earned him a reputation in courts around the state as an uncommonly skilled and creative litigator and advocate.
