Dana M. Larbus was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in Crown Point, Indiana. In 1987, Ms. Larbus received her Bachelor of Arts and Sciences Degree (double majored: Political Science and Criminal Justice), at Indiana University Bloomington.
While working full-time, Ms. Larbus earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Toledo, College of Law in 1989. After graduation, Ms. Larbus moved to Seneca County Ohio where she began her legal career practicing in the areas of domestic relations, personal injury and criminal defense.
Subsequently, Ms. Larbus opened her own firm and was designated Solicitor for the Villages of Republic and Bettsville, Ohio. Shortly thereafter, the Seneca County Prosecutor's Office recruited her to handle their Title IV Child Support and Juvenile law files.
In 1994, Ms. Larbus broadened her practice to include civil and domestic relations mediation. In addition, Ms. Larbus served as a volunteer mediator for the Seneca County Community Mediation Program and as a Member of the Planning and Advisory Committee for it.
Several years later, Ms. Larbus and her husband returned to Indiana where she worked for Indiana University's Contracts and Grants Department and then as a system administrator and Programmer/Analyst.
In the years that followed, Ms. Larbus worked in the IT sector as a Financial Application Consultant, Project Lead, End-User Trainer and as a Director of Operations/Project Manager.
Since 2002, Ms. Larbus has practiced in the areas of insurance defense, plaintiff's personal injury, workers compensation, employment & labor and medical malpractice and family litigation.
Today, Ms. Larbus concentrates her legal efforts in the following areas:

In addition, to her law practice, Ms. Larbus is active in various community, school, athletic and professional associations. She coaches softball and co-leads a Girl Scout troop. She is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association (Family and Juvenile Law Section), the Hamilton County Bar Association and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
