Molly Lang advises insurance companies on a broad range of compliance and regulatory matters, including legislative and public policy issues, market conduct and enforcement actions, corporate transactions and product development for all lines of insurance. She handles compliance issues concerning the use of marketing and advertising materials including social media, product design and product filings with insurance departments. Molly assists clients in compliance with the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act and Uniform Electronic Transactions Act. In addition, she provides strategic advice on emerging issues arising out of the Federal Insurance Office and the International Association of Insurance Supervisors. Molly represents insurers and reinsurers in litigation in state and federal courts throughout the country. 

Molly previously worked for a national insurance law firm based in Chicago, where she concentrated on complex coverage analysis and litigation. She has extensive experience in environmental and toxic tort coverage litigation. Molly has represented insurers in coverage disputes regarding insureds’ liability for toxic waste storage, treatment and disposal practices. She has defended a national retail chain against negligence, assault and battery claims. Molly has also worked for a publicly traded insurance company managing outside counsel who conducted direct defense of the carrier’s insureds throughout the United States.
