John W. Lam is experienced in various litigation and transactional matters such as land use entitlements, drafting and negotiating contracts for commercial real property transactions, and agreements for goods and services. In addition, Mr. Lam has experience working closely with governmental agencies, boards, and officials. He also handles general civil litigation, administrative mandamus proceedings, and appeals.
Prior to joining Alvarez-Glasman & Colvin, Mr. Lam worked for the Los Angeles office of the California Office of the Attorney General, Torts and Condemnations Department and Legal Aid Society of Orange County.
Mr. Lam holds a J.D. from Loyola Law School. While in law school, he served as the Executive Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review and was a published author. Prior to law school, Mr. Lam attended the University of California, Los Angeles where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Political Science and History.
