Underwood, Margaret M.

Mitchell Ladson is an attorney who has been working on behalf of Georgia plaintiffs for more than six years. Mr. Ladson was born in Savannah, Georgia. He attended Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia for his undergraduate degree and graduated magna cum laude from Emory in 1998 with a B.A. in English. Mr. Ladson received his law degree from Tulane University in 2006. While in law school, Mr. Ladson worked for Odom & Des Roches, a law firm in downtown New Orleans specializing in plaintiffs’ antitrust work. In the summer after his second year of law school, Mr. Ladson worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Anthony A. Alaimo, the Senior Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia, in Brunswick, Georgia.

Before moving to Columbus in 2012, Mr. Ladson was an attorney at Ladson Law Firm, P.C., a private practice with offices in Savannah and Richmond Hill, Georgia. At Ladson Law Firm, Mr. Ladson successfully represented plaintiffs in state and federal court in the areas of personal injury, professional malpractice, trucking litigation, and wrongful death. He also represented plaintiffs and defendants in business and construction litigation.

Mr. Ladson is a trained mediator registered with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution. He is a member in good standing of the State Bar of Georgia and is also admitted to practice in U.S. District Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit. He is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association.

In Columbus, Mr. Ladson lives with his wife Jennifer and daughter Eleanor. They attend St. Luke United Methodist Church in downtown Columbus. Mr. Ladson participates in a local tennis league (CORTA) and enjoys spending time with his family in and around Columbus.
