Since joining the securities litigation practice, Jennifer has participated in the defense of securities class action and derivative law suits at all stages of litigation, including: researching and drafting pleadings and motions, coordinating and implementing written discovery, engaging in fact investigation and witness preparation, participating in depositions, and preparing for trial. Additionally, Jennifer is experienced in internal audit committee investigations and government enforcement proceedings, particularly those related to accounting and GAAP compliance.
Most recently, Jennifer has been a member of the team defending a major technology manufacturer and distributor as well as certain of its senior executives and board of directors against claims that the company and individual defendants violated 10(b), 20(a), and 20A of the Securities Exchange Act, as well as derivative law suits and an SEC investigation stemming from the same facts.
Jennifer is also active in pro bono work, focusing on family law matters through the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program (DVAP).
