John A. Christiansen has been a trial lawyer and worked in the area of litigation for over 20 years. He is primarily a plaintiff's attorney representing injured people in the areas of personal injury, workers' compensation, employment discrimination and general civil litigation. He also does appeals, family law/divorce, breach of contract cases, and municipal court work. He has received the prestigious Preeminent Attorney AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell. As a trial attorney, he has filed hundreds of cases, taken and defended over a thousand depositions (including many expert witnesses), been involved in over two thousand workers' compensation cases, done both jury trials and judge tried cases in a variety of practice areas, briefed and argued motions on an abundant number of topics, written appellate briefs, argued appellate cases, and counseled thousands of clients. Besides his private practice experience, Mr. Christiansen is also a former Assistant Attorney General of Missouri and a former Adjunct Professor at University of Missouri-Kansas City.
