Tutelo, Pauline F.

Matthew Kwacala was born and raised in Macomb, Il.  After graduating from Macomb High School in 1993, Mr. Kwacala attended Saint Louis University and graduated in 1997 with a Bachelors Degree in History.  Following college, Mr. Kwacala attended Loyola University Chicago School of Law earning his JD in May of 2000.  After passing the Bar Exam in the summer of 2000, Mr. Kwacala joined the firm and practiced in several areas of law, including criminal defense, family law, personal injury, administrative law, and civil litigation.  Mr. Kwacala left the firm in 2006 and became the head felony prosecutor in Knox County, Illinois for four years.  In Knox County Mr. Kwacala conducted several jury trials and was the lead prosecutor in a 1st degree murder case as well as several methamphetamine manufacturing cases, securing guilty verdicts in all cases taken to jury.  Mr. Kwacala re-joined the firm in February of 2011, and now specializes in criminal defense, family law, civil litigation, and higher education law.  Currently, Mr. Kwacala is also the Ethics Officer for Western Illinois University.  Mr. Kwacala now resides in Macomb with his wife Stacie and their three year old daughter Abigail.
