Vadim Trifel graduated from the University of Minnesota with a double major in Political Science and Sociology of Law, Crime and Deviance. In 2005, Mr. Trifel attended William Mitchell College of Law on a Merit Scholarship. In 2006, he studied abroad in Malta where he was Certified Arbitrator and Mediator by the Frank G. Evans Center in International Mediation and Arbitration. As a Student Certified Attorney, Mr. Trifel gained extensive courtroom experience. During his third year of law school, he argued and won a constitutional case before the Minnesota Court of Appeals. Mr. Trifel won verdicts on behalf of tenants who were living in uninhabitable conditions. He also successfully handled and argued cases on behalf of the City of St. Louis Park Prosecutor’s Office. In addition to his courtroom work, he traveled to New Orleans to legally assist victims of Hurricane Katrina, taught high school students constitutional law and performed investigative work for the disabled. In 2008, he was awarded three scholarship awards for leadership, community involvement and litigation.
As an attorney, Mr. Trifel represents both individuals and businesses in insurance coverage and contract disputes. He handles a wide variety of cases ranging from smaller disputes to complex litigation involving production of hundreds of thousands of documents and numerous witnesses. Mr. Trifel regularly appears before the State and Federal benches. He is admitted to practice in the State of Minnesota and before the United States District Court, District of Minnesota. He is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and the Hennepin County Bar Association.
