Lisa Trachy was introduced to the field of law at a very young age. Her father worked as the Public Defender in Hennepin County, a job he held for nearly 40 years. While growing up, Lisa recalls spending time in her father’s office and witnessing him helping those who were disadvantaged. It was this experience that inspired Lisa to become an attorney.

Lisa was born and raised in Hopkins, Minnesota. She attended the University of New Hampshire and in 2008 received a Bachelor’s Degree in English with a minor in Spanish. In 2011, she graduated from Albany Law School, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, an academic honor society. While in school, Lisa served for two years as a writer and editor of the Albany Government Law Review. In addition, she contributed to the Albany Government Law Review Fireplace, the first student written and edited law blog in the country and the first legal blog to engage in substantive legal analysis and academic speculation.

With the desire to help those in need, Lisa joined the Law Offices of Bruce E. Goldstein as a Personal Injury attorney.  Lisa assists victims of accidents including motor vehicles, bicycles, and trucks, as well as injuries related to dog bites and slips and falls.  “Getting to know my clients and understanding what they are going through helps me be a strong advocate for them,” said Lisa. 

Lisa is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association. When not at work, Lisa is quite the sports enthusiast. She enjoys playing soccer and softball, hiking, swimming and biking. She also serves as a referee for an intramural soccer team. Making tough calls and having sound judgment are qualities that benefit her both on the field and in the courtroom.
