Mr. Brownlee joined a major Florida law firm in 2009. He practiced in the areas of civil litigation, focusing his efforts in both federal and state courts. He has numerous published opinions and cases, including Lorenzo v. Agency for Healthcare Administration, and Zimmerman v. Horstmann.

Mr. Brownlee practices 100% appeals across the State of Florida and in every federal appellate court in the country. While in law school Mr. Brownlee was member of the prestigious group, The Order of the Coif. The Order of the Coif is an honorary scholastic society the purpose of which is to encourage excellence in legal education by fostering a spirit of careful study, recognizing those who as law students attained a high grade of scholarship, and honoring those who as lawyers, judges and teachers attained high distinction for their scholarly or professional accomplishments.
