Stephen C Krumpe was born in Hagerstown, Maryland. In 1978, he graduated magna cum laude from Shepherd College in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. He received his Master of Arts degree in history in 1979 and law degree (with high distinction) in 1984, both from the University of Iowa. He joined O'Connor & Thomas, P.C., in February 1985 upon being admitted to the Iowa Bar. Steve became licensed to practice law in Wisconsin in 1987, and in Illinois in 1997. He is a member of the Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin bar associations. He is also a member of the American Bar Association and the Dubuque County Bar Association. Steve has served for more than 20 years on the Scenic Valley Area on Aging board of directors. His general practice includes, but is not limited to, civil litigation and appeals, federal practice, labor relations, and employment litigation.
