Pat Toher advises market leaders in a broad range of industries on strategic outsourcing projects and on technology transactions of all kinds.
He has structured and negotiated outsourcing deals covering the full spectrum of traditional IT functions and business processes such as HR, payroll, financial and accounting, facilities management, benefits administration, check processing, loan servicing, utilities management, procurement, and warehouse logistics. Many of these deals involve global operations or services performed offshore, and Pat is well-versed in crafting practical market-based solutions to complex multijurisdictional business and legal issues.
In addition to outsourcing, Pat has extensive experience counseling clients in technology transactions of all kinds, including patent and copyright licensing, technology development projects, strategic alliances, and manufacturing and distribution relationships. He also advises on IP- and technology-related issues arising in M&A deals.
