Steven Tindall has specialized in employment and class action litigation for the past twelve years. Prior to joining Rukin Hyland Doria & Tindall, Steven was a partner at Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein for five years and was an associate at Lieff Cabraser for three years prior to becoming partner. While at Lieff Cabraser, Steven focused on plaintiffs' class action litigation in the fields of wage and hour law, antitrust, and consumer protection. Steven also litigated a number of mass tort personal injury and toxic tort cases. Steven has been plaintiffs' lead or co-lead counsel on several cases that resulted in settlements worth over $1 million.
Steven received his B.A. degree in English Literature from Yale University , graduating summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and with distinction in his major. He earned his J.D. degree from the University of California at Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall) in 1996. While at Boalt, Steven co-directed the East Bay Workers' Rights Clinic. After graduating from Boalt, Steven clerked for Hon. Judith N. Keep of the United States District Court for the Southern District of California and for Hon. Claudia Wilken of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
