Mark Kolman joined Dickstein Shapiro in 1996, and is a partner in the Insurance Coverage Practice. In addition to insurance coverage matters, Mr. Kolman's practice focuses on civil litigation, mass torts, and trials of complex disputes. He has served as lead counsel in several major trials involving insurance coverage for asbestos-related claims, environmental claims, silicone breast implants, cell phones, and directors and officers liability matters. Mr. Kolman has been a trial lawyer for more than 41 years, starting as a state and federal prosecutor in Baltimore, Maryland, and has first-chaired more than 150 jury trials and over 1,000 contested cases. For the last 20 years, Mr. Kolman has focused his practice as lead trial counsel in the litigation and trial of complex insurance coverage cases for major policyholders.
