The focus of Cynthia's practice is in the defense of professional liability matters. As well, since 2007 Cynthia has acted as the Managing Attorney for the firm's Orlando office. As the managing attorney, Cynthia is responsible for the daily operations of the Orlando office.
Cynthia's practice has expanded to include representation in complex litigation claims and suits brought against non-medical professionals. These professionals include realtors, insurance agents/ brokers, as well as directors and officers of both homeowners and condominium associations.
In addition, Cynthia has handled complex litigation involving the representation of national transportation carriers and has also represented many commercial businesses, retail establishments and homeowners, in premises liability matters. Cynthia has also represented a large number of physicians, medical facilities, and health care groups in health care related matters.
Cynthia graduated from Duquesne University with a Bachelor and Master of Arts Degrees in Political Science in 1984. She received her law degree from Temple University School of Law in 1988. While in law school, Cynthia clerked for the Criminal Procedure Rules Committee, an advisory body to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
Upon graduation, Cynthia commenced a three-year clerkship with the Honorable James Knoll Gardner, Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Lehigh County. For the next seven years, Cynthia was employed by an insurance defense firm handling premises liability, product liability, motor vehicle, and medical malpractice cases.
Cynthia is admitted to practice in Florida, Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida, and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania.
