Attorney Meagan F. Temple practices criminal defense.  Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Ms. Temple represents clients facing federal, state and military criminal charges and investigations.  Her practice includes representing clients facing charges in all areas of criminal law, including sexual assault, drug charges, white collar crime and DUI/DWIs. Ms. Temple is a prior United States Air Force judge advocate.  As a judge advocate, Ms. Temple served as Area Defense Counsel, Chief of Military Justice, Chief of Labor Law, Chief of Administrative Law and Chief of Legal Assistance.  While in the Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Corps, Ms. Temple had the good fortune of attending preeminent, intensive trial advocacy training.  Ms. Temple’s litigation experience includes both prosecution and defense.  During her active duty time, she successfully defended numerous military members facing serious charges including sexual assault, drug distribution, child pornography, arson and fraud. 

Prior to working as a judge advocate, Ms. Temple worked as a civilian attorney in the Pittsburgh area.  Her other legal training and experience includes working while in law school for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Pennsylvania, White Collar Crime Division.  Prior to accepting her position with the United States Attorney’s Office, Ms. Temple worked as a law clerk for several distinguished Pittsburgh criminal defense attorneys representing clients who faced felony charges for offenses including fraud and murder.

Ms. Temple received her juris doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh.  She also holds a bachelors degree in mathematics from the University of Richmond.  She is admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the United States Air Force Court of Criminal Appeals and the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.
