Telles, Toni

Toni Telles is an associate with the firm.

Toni is a life-long resident of New Jersey. She graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers College in 2001. She earned her J.D. in 2008 from Rutgers-Camden School of Law and was honored with the Class of 1995 Graduation Award for her contributions to public service on behalf of the law school. She was nominated for the Mary Philbrook Public Service Award in 2009.

Before enrolling in law school, Toni served two years with Americorps National Service in Central New Jersey. During her service, she developed and planned community service programs and devoted her time to assisting local social service centers with providing support to economically-disadvantaged residents. Her experience was incredibly rewarding, but she knew that the type of service she wanted to provide to those in need meant pursuing a legal career.

While a student Rutgers-Camden School of Law, she founded and co-chaired the National Lawyers' Guild, Rutgers-Camden Law School Chapter and was awarded a Marshall-Brennan Fellowship, teaching Constitutional Law to High School students in the city of Camden.

Prior to joining the firm, Toni practiced primarily civil rights law. Toni brings to the firm her passion and commitment to protecting the civil rights of all New Jersey residents. She is the present Chair of the National Lawyers' Guild, New Jersey Chapter. Toni resides in Southern New Jersey with her husband. She is licensed to practice law in New Jersey.
