Phoebe A. Taurick is an associate attorney in the Minneapolis, Minnesota office of Wessels Sherman. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Wisconsin and both State and Federal courts in Minnesota. Her practice is focused on representing management in all aspects of labor and employment law, including NLRB and other state and federal agency matters.
Ms. Taurick received her undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She obtained her Law degree from the University of Minnesota, Magna Cum Laude. During law school, Ms. Taurick concentrated her studies in the field of labor and employment law and gained valuable experience while serving as an intern with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and a public sector labor organization. Additionally, she received the BNA-ABA Award for Excellence in the Study of Labor and Employment Law, for her exemplary achievements in this ever-challenging area of law.
A prolific writer, Ms. Taurick has served as Lead Managing Editor of the ABA Journal of Labor and Employment Law, Co-President of her University of Minnesota Law School Student Employment and Labor Law Association, and University of Madison Student Labor Action Coalition and Labor and Licensing Policy Committee. She also assisted in updating a legal treatise on employment law and has had an article published in an ABA publication on labor and employment law. Her article, Untested Assumptions in NLRB Proceedings, was published in the ABA Journal of Labor and Employment Law.
