Bob concentrates his practice in education law, municipal liability, and civil rights matters. In this capacity, he represents school districts and municipalities in various claims made and suits brought against them.
Bob was born and raised in the Pocono Mountains. In 2001, he earned a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh. In 2007, he graduated with a J.D. from the Villanova University School of Law. While at Villanova, Bob successfully obtained refugee status for a family of six from Iraq. The case gained notoriety in the immigration community and Bob was invited to represent his clients at a panel hearing entitled “The Plight of the Iraqi Refugees” before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration, Border Security and Citizenship, chaired by the late Senator Ted Kennedy.
Prior to joining Newman Williams, Bob was a school teacher. His experience in education has served him well as he has a well-rounded and unique understanding of the issues school districts face from the perspective of a former educator and as an attorney.
