Joseph Kern is an associate attorney at Anesi, Ozmon, Rodin, Novak & Kohen, representing severely injured victims and their families. As an associate attorney, Joe Practices in all areas of personal injury, including construction negligence, automobile negligence, medical malpractice, products liability, premises liability, and wrongful death.
Joe approaches his practice of law with the highest level of dedication, commitment, integrity, and passion. He is dedicated to fighting on behalf of the victims of another’s negligence. “I diligently and aggressively represent each client and give them the level of attention and access I would expect if I was in their shoes and going through the tragic and difficult times that they are,” says Joe.
Joe graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law in May 2011. As a law student, Joe received the CALI Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy, an award given to the student with highest grade in the class. He also completed a judicial clerkship with Honorable Allen S. Goldberg of the Circuit Court of Cook County.
Joe is currently a member of Chicago Volunteer Legal Services, an organization that provides legal services to people who cannot afford them. He is also a member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, and the Illinois State Bar Association. Joe also volunteers for a number of Chicago Bar Association events throughout the Chicagoland area.
Joe received his Bachelor’s in Finance from University of Iowa in 2006 and graduated in the top 5% of his class. Prior to law school, he worked as a Financial Analyst and Mortgage Consultant. He was born in Chicago and grew up in Arlington Heights, a northwest suburb of Chicago. After graduating from college, Joe moved the Lakeview area of Chicago where he has remained ever since. In his free time, Joe enjoys reading, running, traveling, golfing, and spending time with friends and family.
