Hilda Galvan focuses on intellectual property litigation, chiefly patent litigation. Hilda has litigated complex, high-stakes patent infringement cases in a myriad of technologies, including semiconductor equipment and processes, telecommunications, computer technology, software and internet applications, and circuit design.

Hilda has served as lead trial lawyer for technology companies in some of their most important intellectual property matters. She successfully represented IBM in its patent enforcement lawsuits against Amazon.com, Sercel in its defense against claims of patent infringement, and Mattel in its defense of a trade secret misappropriation lawsuit. 

Hilda has repeatedly been ranked and selected by numerous publications, including The Best Lawyers in America (2006 to present), Dallas Business Journal (2010) as one of only 15 top business defense lawyers in North Texas profiled in "The Defenders," Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business (2004 to present), and IAM Patent Litigation (2011 to present), as one of the top intellectual property litigators in Texas. IAM's 2012 edition singled out Hilda's national reputation as "dynamic advocacy skills."   She is a board member for Business Council for the Arts and Junior Players, served on the board for the Center for Nonprofit Management , and is on the executive committee of the Institute of Law and Technology, Center for American & International Law. She is President of the Barbara M.G. Lynn Inn of Courts, Chair of the Dallas Bar IP Section, and has also served as scholarship committee chair for the Dallas Hispanic Bar Foundation. Hilda has lectured on a range of intellectual property issues.
