Sweeney, Paula Fisette

Rebecca A. Corcoran is an associate in the Litigation Department and a member of the Appellate Practice Group.  She focuses her practice on general litigation, including complex matters involving products liability, premises liability, insurance defense and general negligence law. 

Ms. Corcoran received her B.A., cum laude, in 2002 from Villanova University.  She received her J.D. in 2008 from Boston College Law School, where she served as Managing Editor of the Boston College Law School Third World Law Journal.  Her article, "Justice for the Forgotten: Saving the Women of Darfur," was published in the journal's Winter 2008 edition.  She was also the recipient of the 2008 John D. O'Reilly Jr. Award for outstanding contributions to the law school.  Prior to attending law school, Ms. Corcoran worked as a reporter for a Philadelphia-area newspaper. 

Ms. Corcoran is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
