Ian T. Keeler is an associate with Clapp Ferrucci. Prior to joining Clapp Ferrucci, Mr. Keeler was a law clerk with the firm. Before law school, Mr. Keeler worked as an engineer for Bridgestone Firestone Diversified Products in Carmel, Indiana. During his time there, Mr. Keeler held positions with both Firestone Industrial Products and Firestone Building Products.
Mr. Keeler earned his Juris Doctor from the Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis in May 2011. In law school, Mr. Keeler was a Student Note Editor for the Indiana International and Comparative Law Review. Mr. Keeler's note was selected for publication in Volume 21, Issue No. 2 of the law review, and titled Is a Jury Composed of People Having Ordinary Skill in the Art? Reasons Why the United States Should Change Its Approach to the Obviousness Question in Patent Litigation.
Mr. Keeler graduated from Clemson University in 2006, where he earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. At Clemson, Mr. Keeler was a four year letterman on the varsity tennis team, and had a design internship with BMW in Greer, South Carolina.
A lifelong Fishers resident, Mr. Keeler graduated from Hamilton Southeastern High School in 2002. In high school, he was a four year letterman on the varsity tennis and varsity hockey teams.
Mr. Keeler is admitted to practice in the State of Indiana, and before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. Mr. Keeler has been a member of the Indiana State Bar Association and the American Bar Association since 2011.
Outside of the firm, Mr. Keeler is a member of Grace Community Church in Noblesville, Indiana, and volunteers with his wife Courtney in Grace’s Children’s Ministry. He enjoys traveling with his wife and family, spending time with friends, and participating in various running and triathlon events. In 2011, Mr. Keeler was a finisher at the Chicago Marathon, and has plans to compete at Ironman Louisville in August of 2012.
