Ms. Kazmerski graduated with Honors from Harvard University in 1995, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and American Literature and Language. After college, Ms. Kazmerski spent two years working in the banking industry in Chicago. Ms Kazmerski then moved to Los Angeles, and attended University of California, Los Angeles School of Law. During law school, she was Business Editor of the UCLA Entertainment Law Journal, and participated in moot court competitions. Ms. Kazmerski was awarded a J.D. degree from UCLA in 2000.
Ms. Kazmerski joined Conkle, Kremer & Engel as a law clerk in 1999. After graduating from UCLA, Ms. Kazmerski practiced with another firm in bankruptcy litigation, where she was involved in Chapter 11 reorganizations for both businesses and individuals, as well as lawsuits in Chapter 7 bankruptcies to enforce creditors rights in intellectual property and other property. In 2005, Ms. Kazmerski returned to practice with Conkle, Kremer & Engel. Ms. Kazmerski is admitted to practice before all federal and state courts in California, including the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
