Neil M. Kaufman is a partner and chairman of the corporate department at Abrams, Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Formato, Ferrara & Einiger, LLP. Mr. Kaufman represents public companies, private companies and investment firms in their corporate, securities, financing, borrowing, merger & acquisition and other legal matters. Mr. Kaufman's clients range from early stage growth companies to mature public companies in a wide range of industries, including software, internet, manufacturing, distribution and services. Mr. Kaufman is particularly well known for advising clients with respect to SEC regulation, public offerings, private placements and mergers & acquisitions, as well as all types of commercial contracts. Mr. Kaufman often lectures and participates in panel discussions relating to the areas of law in which he practices, particularly mergers and acquisitions and financing.

Mr. Kaufman serves as Chairman of the Long Island Capital Alliance; President of the Long Island Chapter of Financial Executives International and a member of the Corporate Advisory Board of the Dolan DNA Learning Center of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.

Mr. Kaufman formerly served as Chairman of the board of directors of Vizacom Inc., a NASDAQ-listed software and technology solutions company.

Prior to joining Abrams Fensterman, Mr. Kaufman was a partner and chairman of the corporate department of Davidoff Malito & Hutcher LLP, the founder and managing member of Kaufman & Associates LLC, and associated with Lord Day & Lord, Barrett Smith.

Mr. Kaufman received a J.D. from the New York University School of Law and an undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
