Strausbaugh, Daniel J.

Attorney Gita B. Kapur received her Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis in Political Science from the California State University of Pomona in 1999. She obtained her Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law placing her in the top 20 percent of the class. Ms. Kapur is a member of the California State Bar since 2002.

Ms. Kapur began her legal career as an immigration attorney with a firm that solely practiced immigration law representing aliens in removal/deportation proceedings from 2004 till 2006.
 
Thereafter, Ms. Kapur began her boutique law firm practicing only immigration law and has litigated in many areas of immigration law such as removal/deportation proceedings, cancellation of removal, adjustment of status, permanent residence, immigration waivers, asylum, withholding of removal, the Convention Against Torture, derived citizenship and appeals.
 
Ms. Kapur has been admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of California in 2002. She is currently a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Ms. Kapur is one of the fewest attorneys recommended by the Immigration Court's Legal Aid List. Ms. Kapur represents and is willing to represent indigent aliens in all types of immigration matters.
