Kelli Stiles focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation with an emphasis on product liability and toxic tort litigation. She also has represented businesses during investigations by governmental authorities. She has experience in all aspects of discovery and motion practice, including taking and defending depositions of fact and expert witnesses, drafting Daubert motions, and coordinating expert reports. Kelli has been an active member of two trial teams that have obtained jury verdicts in favor of their clients.
Representative matters include a case in which it was alleged that a chemical workplace exposure resulted in birth defects in an employee's offspring, several cases involving smoking and health claims, and a case involving the alleged misreporting of an infectious disease. In 2009, Kelli was a member of the trial team that represented commercial real estate brokerage Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services in federal court in Chicago in a case involving commission disputes with a former sales agent. The jury found for Marcus & Millichap on all counts. In 2005, Kelli was a member of the trial team in Rose v. American Tobacco Co., et al. in state court in Manhattan, in which the jury returned a verdict in favor of R.J. Reynolds.
Kelli has represented such clients as Cardinal Health, Dell, Laboratory Corporation of America, Rohm and Haas Company, and Time Warner. She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association.
Kelli was named an "Ohio Rising Star" by Law & Politics magazine in 2010.
