An experienced employment lawyer and civil litigator, Tamsin represents corporations and individuals in discrimination, breach of contract, non-compete and other employment and business related matters in state and federal courts and in government agencies including the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. Tamsin advises corporate and individual clients regarding the full range of employment related legal concerns, from recruitment and hiring to discipline and termination. She also provides her corporate clients with employment agreements, employee handbooks, employment audits, workplace investigations and trainings on diversity, harassment, and other topics. Since 1998, Tamsins alternative dispute resolution practice has included mediation of business and employment disputes and other civil litigation matters. Tamsin currently serves as an arbitrator on the American Arbitration Association Expedited Commercial Panel.

For over ten years, Tamsin was the Principal in the law firm of Tamsin R. Kaplan & Associates, P.C. She has enjoyed an active employment law and litigation practice in Massachusetts since 1994, prior to which she served as a Law Clerk and Regional Administrative Law Clerk in the Massachusetts Superior Court. Before entering law school, Tamsin was an organizational development consultant for non-profit institutions including performing arts companies and museums in the Boston area.
