Stoehr, Douglas V.

Robert Stewart is a Partner in the firm since 2002, and serves as Director of the firm's Real Estate Practice Group and conveyancing practice. Mr. Stewart has represented Massachusetts and national lenders and brokers in purchase and refinance transactions, and serves as the chief title insurance agent for the firm, working in close relationship with the title insurance underwriting counsel for matters involving title defects, foreclosures and probate issues. Mr. Stewart has extensive drafting and negotiating experience in all areas of commercial and residential real estate contracts, Offers to Purchase, Purchase and Sale Agreements, as well as conveyancing and loan security documents. Mr. Stewart has experience in the creation and management of condominium associations, condominium trusts, realty trusts, real estate LLCs and other ownership and management entities. Mr. Stewart has represented buyers and sellers of new construction, and has extensive experience in the drafting, interpretation and enforcement of builder's warranties. Mr. Stewart has extensive experience representing buyers and sellers of high-end property in Boston, the Boston suburbs, Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket.

Mr. Stewart also practices in the areas of real estate and business litigation. Mr. Stewart has extensive civil trial experience and has represented individuals and business entities in a broad range of matters, including motor vehicle negligence, product liability, negligent security, defective premises, wrongful death, employment and commission contracts, real estate disputes and contractor claims. Mr. Stewart has also represented clients in title issues before the Land Court.

Mr. Stewart is currently still in his office surrounded by files involving all of the above issues. Mr. Stewart enjoys when clients invite him to play golf.

Mr. Stewart makes his home in Lynnfield, Massachusetts with his wife and two daughters.
