Jessica Steinberg graduated from Pace Law School in 2007. Her practice includes environmental law, land use issues, and litigation. She has also conducted real estate closings. Her experience includes environmental impact reviews, brownfields redevelopment, energy law matters, and litigation for Clean Water Act violations and employment matters. She has also worked on the environmental aspects of land use, including comprehensive plans, wetlands, and historic contamination. Jessica has experience with the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA, or Superfund), the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), the National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA), the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA), the Clean Water Act (CWA), and the Atomic Energy Act.
During law school, Jessica earned a Certificate in Environmental Law and completed a joint degree with Bard College, where she earned a Master of Science in Environmental Policy. She served as a Case Note/Comment Editor of the Pace Law Review, interned for the Land Use Law Center, and helped chair the National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition. During law school, Jessica worked at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and later here at SP&R.
