Today, Roshell Jones is a highly respected criminal defense attorney who has successfully defended client in a variety of criminal matters including homicides, sexual assaults, drug cases, DWI cases, etc.
Roshell Jones has also successfully won cases on appeal before the Louisiana First Circuit Court of Appeal, Louisiana Third Circuit Court of Appeal, and the Louisiana Fourth Circuit Court of Appeal. Additionally Roshell Jones is one of the few attorneys who have won a case before the State’s highest court-The Louisiana Supreme Court.
Roshell Jones is a native of New Orleans who has established her home and law practice in Lafayette, Louisiana. She currently represents clients in court throughout the Acadiana area which includes Lafayette, Acadia, St. Martin, Iberia, St. Landry, Jeff Davis, St. Mary, and Evangeline Parishes.
She is a former candidate for the Louisiana State House of Representatives, District 44, a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., the Lafayette Parish Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, and the Louis Martinet Legal Society.
