Sarah Stafford is a special counsel in the firm's Securities Department, and a member of the Securities Litigation and Enforcement Practice Group. She joined the firm in 2004.
Practice
Ms. Stafford represents entities and individuals under investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission, securities self-regulatory organizations and state authorities. Ms. Stafford also has experience conducting internal corporate investigations. Her prior matters have concerned disclosure issues, adequacy of supervision, sales practices, compliance with anti-money laundering requirements and record-keeping.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Stafford was associated with another major law firm in New York, where she focused on complex commercial litigation, including securities and antitrust disputes.
Ms. Stafford is admitted to practice in the state of New York and the District of Columbia.
