Amy E. Souchuns graduated cum laude from Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, where she was a member of the Law Review. Ms. Souchuns earned her bachelor's degree from the College of the Holy Cross. She practices in the areas of real property and land use matters and regularly appears before numerous commissions and agencies throughout the state. Her experience includes representation of local, regional, and national developers, retailers and individual property owners on residential, commercial and mixed use developments. Ms. Souchuns also initiates and defends administrative appeals in federal and state court.
Ms. Souchuns is admitted to the Connecticut Bar and the Federal District Court for the District of Connecticut. She is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and its Environmental Law and Planning & Zoning Sections, serving as a member of the Planning & Zoning Section’s Executive Committee, as well as the Home Builders Association of Connecticut and the Connecticut Developers Council. She has lectured to other lawyers and developers on national and local land use issues. Ms. Souchuns has been selected as a Connecticut Super Lawyers “Rising Star” for the years 2009, 2010 and 2011 in the area of Land Use.
